Like poly´s very much. They use there paws as hands. Before I took a poly I have read much about them. What I like is that they are very natural because 40% or maybe more Maine Coons where Poly´s. Maine Coons are also the most natural cats and I like natural. They accomodated to the place they lived in as all animals do. So they are not strangers or misshapen. Most men think that we descend from the apes and they find us not misshapen? We don´t look like apes anymore. But I don´t care what other people say. Because many breeders in Holland think that they are misshapen but just a week ago there is also een poly Yahoo group in the Netherlands. Started by the breeder of my Poly. ! And I must say that there are some breeders very interested. The breeders that have Polycats have a agreement to cell the kittens as few as possible to breeders. I know, because I have a poly, that they are normal cats with big paws and the only thing that you must check is the nails because they live at home and not outside. They also are very funny when you play with them. They use both paws at the same time. My poly is very social, humble and very sweet. My male (not a poly) is also humble and he does not spray so I think the kittens will be very very very humble.

I vividly remember, as a girl, watching my cat having kittens in the window well. I sat on the warm grass, she gently washing each kitten. Tranquil, until I saw the poly. So excited, I ran and told every one about the kitten with real mittens on the paws. Certainly it was very good luck my Dad told me. Now the Poly Cats, especially Maine Coons, are still so special to me. I have known several over the years, and have not met any who had difficulties. In fact, they seem more dextrous and playful with the large furry paws!
Thanks, and I sure hope you are doing well. This is a great group of people. Rhonda Garnett Cumbrescoons Loving Maine Coons
